The course emphasizes modeling methods, spatial statistics, and multivariate analysis. The aim is to understand concepts and apply knowledge in practice using open-source software and open data.

Upon successful completion of this course, students will be able to:

– Understand the basic concepts of modeling, spatial statistics, and multivariate statistics.

– Acquire the ability to apply these concepts using the R statistical language.

– Make sound decisions regarding method selection, statistical processing, and inference.
