Associate professor of Urban & Regional planning.

Interests in the analysis of space and the production of space, and the epistemological – methodological status of the approaches to space, with a specific interest in the communicative / semiotic dimension in the perception and production of space.

Projects at various spatial scales. Architectural studies, including built-up structures, and town planning studies.

Panelists had been asked to prepare 5 min. presentations. Mine had the title Three Critical points in the evolution of the urban system of Greece.

1985: First prize, with M. Fryssas and E. Fotopoulou, in the Competition, organized and sponsored by the Kissos Technical S.A., for Ideas for a New Settlement for 3,500 permanent inhabitants on a 200-hectare Site in Isenli, near Hortiatis, Greece.
