The course aims at:
(a) providing students with a comprehensive set of theoretical knowledge in Planning and Design of Cities,
(b) developing students’ critical analytical thinking on new cutting-edge issues in Planning and Design of Cities,
(c) practicing the design skills of students in Urban Planning.
The course contributes to the theoretical training of students on urban design issues, dealt with by the International Schools of Planning and Design of Cities that dominated from the second half of the 20th century to the present, and produced modern European cities.
